They were super easy to make, and also to give them your own little touch. I moved in the midst of making these, to a boy's room with high ceilings, so i had to come up with a creative way to display these without having to go all the way and nail 15' high. (I ended up hanging them on a line across two walls, and i think they couldn't have worked out better)
I had a ton of fun creating these, and to my delight, my baby boy shrieks in delight every time he sees them move by the wind. This mommy feels accomplished :)
I also made one for my threenager so he didnt feel left out. He even asked for a cloud. My boys are so happy to see them in their room. It fills my heart to see their smiles in something so simple, yet they know mommy worked hard on it. I think it makes them like it more.
Its a good reminder, for me, that time is all they need from you. <3 (and love, of course)
See how they came out below.
the dots you see on the wall are glow in the dark stars. I also added some of that so my threenager can relax when he lays down to sleep at night by looking at them. My hubby's idea. Hes a genius. Little guy loves them and I am sure it has helped to lull him to sleep since we put them up in their new room. I got them on amazon and they are super! (i got these: http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00UAY6J1U?psc=1&redirect=true&ref_=oh_aui_detailpage_o08_s00 ) they are still shinning a little when i go in to nurse my little one at 4am.
With the holidays coming i am sure i am either going to have a ton of crafts or just no time for any. Haha. We'll see how it goes.
PS- i also got cloud decals to finish up the look. I love them, too! i got these:
